Anthony Davis played every minute of the second half in Game 1 of the Lakers' playoff series against the Golden State Warriors.

He finished the game with 30 points, 23 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks, leading the Lakers to a 117-112 win and stealing home-court advantage.

Davis joined Shaquille O'Neal, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Elgin Baylor as the only players in Lakers history to record a 30-20 game in the playoffs.

LeBron James praised Davis joined Shaquille O'Neal, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Elgin Baylor  and said he will be up in the rafters when he's done playing.

His teammates shot 5-for-5 off his feeds, and the Warriors went 4-for-17 on shots that Davis contested.

The Lakers were careful with Davis' workload during the regular season to save him for the playoffs.

Lakers coach Darvin Ham said that postseason is the time to push the big dogs, and Davis is one of them.

The Lakers won Game 1 despite James' off shooting night and quiet performances from Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura.

Davis and the Lakers are looking forward to Game 2 and expect the Warriors to make the adjustments in the game.
