Fans of Netflix's “Love Is Blind” were left waiting for over an hour for the Season 4 reunion special to stream live on Sunday.

The reunion was set to be Netflix's second-ever live event on its own platform, with Vanessa and Nick Lachey hosting.

Some viewers who joined the waiting room 10 minutes before the start time were still waiting an hour later.

The show finally started airing at around 6:16 p.m. Pacific, although some users still reported difficulties accessing the content.

Netflix apologized for the delay, but did not offer an explanation, and promised to have the special on Netflix "as soon as humanly possible".

Netflix's first live streaming event, “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage,” did not experience any apparent technical difficulties.

Cast members from the Seattle-based season of "Love is Blind" took to social media to joke about the delay.

Competing streamers and networks also made jokes about the delay on social media.

The chaos dominated Twitter's trending topics, but the latest episode of HBO's “Succession” was now streaming.

The Associated Press journalists Beatrice Dupuy, Alicia Rancilio, and Mallika Sen contributed to this report.
